On a cold day we really enjoy Pho and so far each time I have come here, I have not been disappointed. Now when its cold and they have had a busy day the broth is slightly weaker. Other than that its almost always on point. When we bring the teenagers with us sometimes they try to get something they havent had but, they really love their usual. Chicken Lo Mein, General Tso Chicken, Sesame  Chicken or a bowl of Pho. We adults ask for the chili oil and spice it up its sooo good. Their price is extremely reasonable and they even have a special on a certain day of the week for an even better bargain. The place is clean and can accommodate larger groups. Sometimes you have to flag someone down for your refills on water but, they are getting better. The family that runs it is super sweet. Enjoy

Went by yesterday for lunch and found out they didn't offer lunch specials
Wanted a booth and there wasn't a single clean booth in the place .. sloppy dishes on every booth
So the lady cleaned a booth for us and seemed put off to do it ..
    So we ordered
I ordered a pho which was one of the poorest tasting broths In pho I've ever had and I've had them from everywhere
My wife ordered the sesame chicken which tasted too sweet and was cold
Needless to say we will never be back
Too many other places that actually care about the customers to east out ti

I went for the 6.00 pho
And it was a smaller serving and not a value..and the flavor is still not there .. much more options out there .. Kim phung is not what it used to be

I have loved Kim and her business for over 10+ years, when she was on lakeline from Lamar expansion. This CP loaction is clean, but so poorly managed and less than acceptable.
We truly hope to stay customers, but todays experience has definitely pushed us to other franchise chains.
Kim feel free to step in or reach out

(Quick note to you rangoon lovers:  you'll never eat another crab rangoon from any other restaurant after you've eaten one from Jenna's on 620.  I'm not even kidding.  Jenna's rangoons are like the gold standard of rangoons!)

Slow. Slow. Slow. Since 2006, my family has been frequent visitors of Kim Phung since they were at Lakeline.  We loved it there--the location, the atmosphere, the fish tank, and the #33.  After they moved from Lakeline to Cedar Park, KP has gone down hill, and last night I decided to bid adieu for the last time thanks to the wait times and the lack of service.

To be fair, the KP on Lamar Blvd is on their game--they are super fast and the wait staff is always so nice.  I don't know what the problem is at their Cedar Park place, but they really just seem to care about their take-out customers over the dine-in's.  Even though the owner appears to be active here on Yelp, things aren't getting any better at the restaurant itself.

Last night, we ordered yellow curry w/chicken and pad thai w/tofu.  After 45 minutes, I approached our waiter** at the pick-up counter to get status of our meal and he could barely tear his eyes away from his iPhone.  He said it was being cooked.  Why was it taking 45 minutes to cook some vermicelli and tofu?  He said, "It have to be fried.  The other order just soup!"

Anyway, that was it for me.  The curry was delicious (albeit not as vibrant or full of veggies as per usual), but the pad thai was a gelatinous glob, not at all something I would expect to be served at KP.  As soon as we could pack up, we did, and we left.

On a minor note...when I go out to eat, I like to enjoy my surroundings.  Don't you?  That's another sad part of the Cedar Park location.  The outside of the building is ratty.  The menus are beat up.  Dishes are old.  Tables are sticky.  And the cheeeeap brown napkins.  It's a downer!!

** loosely-used term.  He clearly had other things to do.  And drink refills?  Nope.

On par with other pho restaurants, but slightly pricier. I have yet to take advantage of the Wednesday night special, but my time will come. I'll make sure to try other items on the menu, during future visits. Parking is convenient, and there are plenty of seats. It would just be nice to see them drop their prices $1-$2. That would really make me come more often.
